Meet Dog Trainer: Chris Pizzi
Chris has always had a love for animals since a very early age. Growing up, he would sneak off into his Uncle’s kennel to cuddle up with his hunting dogs. When Chris was only 8, he even trained his family’s dog, Max, advanced tricks like shutting off the lights. After high school, Chris attended Kutztown University and DuCret School of Art. He then adopted his own dog, Johnny Cash, who proved to be quite the handful, which made him realize his passion for training.
He worked with pets of family and friends before going on to graduate Animal Behavior College as a certified dog trainer. There, he maintained near perfect scores and learned a variety of different skills and methods of training with help from his Mentor. He went on to study Rehabilitation of Shelter Dogs, Pet Massage, Canine Diet and Nutrition and Managing Dog-Dog Play.
Chris is always continuing his education and looking to advance his expertise by studying many world-renowned animal trainers and their new styles and training methods as well as obtaining more certifications in the field of animal training. He continues to work with his dog, Cash, every day in advanced obedience, trick training and off leash training. Chris also mentor’s future dog obedience trainers through the same program he completed. He is very excited to continue to adopt, rehabilitate and train many more pets of his own in the future. Chris is extremely excited to help our clients and companions achieve a happy, successful and balanced lifelong bond.
