Caregiver for Dogs and Cats
Caregivers are at the heart of our business, monitoring the physical and emotional health of the animals in our care while overseeing that services and activities are fulfilled. General knowledge of dog and cat health and care required. Some responsibilities include:
- Interactions with clientele
- Feeding, watering and potty breaks
- Administration of medications
- Delivering dogs to scheduled activities
- Providing requested activities (one-on-one time, TLC time, and swimming)
- Cleaning
- Documentation (e.g., health observations and charts, exercise notes, report cards)
- Assist with arriving and departing dogs and cats

Activity Counselor for Dogs
The Activity Counselor is responsible for playing with each of our guests by providing and completing each guest's daily activities, including TLC time, one-on-one time, and swim sessions! Daily activities are a key part of what makes Wagsworth Manor Pet Resort a unique "luxury retreat for the furry elite". With over a decade of pet hospitality experience, we understand the importance of relaxation and outdoor activity for our guests. Our daily guest activity plans are customized to each guest's preferences and take advantage of our 6 acres of outdoor space, full-sized indoor pool, and over 20,000 square feet indoors. The Activity Counselors oversee the daily activity schedules (ie. play with dogs)!
Day Camp Monitor
Our Dog Daycamp Monitor supervises and manages guests participating in our most popular activity - group play. Responsible for getting to know each dog’s unique personality, as well as overseeing the fun and safety of each guest in the group play setting. Knowledge of canine behavior and health preferred. Experience with large dogs highly desirable.

Dog Bather
The Bather is responsible for completing each guest’s requested spa service, including baths, blow dry, nail trims, and brush outs. Responsible for making each guest look their best!
Part-time & Full-time positions
Housekeeping
Morning and afternoon housekeeping shifts are responsible for cleaning each guest’s suite and maintaining general use areas of this 24,000 square foot facility. This role is extremely important in helping us achieve our highest health and cleanliness standards!

Guest Services Receptionist
Front desk staff has the best of both worlds - communication with clientele and meeting each furry guest! This position is fast-paced and requires strong customer service skills, computer skills, teamwork, and attention to detail. General knowledge of dog and cat breeds and care preferred. Some responsibilities include:
- Warmly greeting clientele and giving tours
- Answering phones and booking reservations
- Check-in and check-out for each of our guests
- Collecting payment for services
- Requires handling of animals
